On October 22, in the premises of the Sunday school named after Hieromartyr Evfimy Goryachev at the Cathedral of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the city of Achinsk, a meeting was held between the dean of the Achinsk district, Archpriest Pavel Frolov, and the head of the Education Department of the administration of the Achinsk Municipal District, Maria Kiseleva.

The event was also attended by Priest Artemy Katyushkin, assistant dean for religious education and catechesis. The participants discussed issues of interaction between the Department of Education and the clergy in organizing the selection of the ORKSE subject module. The parties exchanged views on the prospects for implementing the “Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics” in schools and agreed on the need to shift attention towards the module “Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture.” The director of the Bishop's Educational Center of the Krasnoyarsk Diocese, Andrei Bardakov, joined the discussion via an online conference. It was decided to hold a meeting between Father Pavel and the directors of secondary schools in the Achinsk municipal district.
