The Achinsk dean consecrated the chapel in the name of St. Seraphim of Sarovtranslated

On October 8, on the Day of Remembrance of St. Sergius of Radonezh, with the blessing of Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk, Archpriest Pavel Frolov, dean of the Achinsk district, consecrated the chapel in the name of St. St. Seraphim of Sarov. The chapel was installed by entrepreneur Nikolai Zhuravlevich at the entrance to the village of Novobirilyussy.

Concelebrating with the dean were the rector of the Holy Trinity Church in the village of Novobirilyussy, Archpriest Sergius Makhanko, and the cleric of the Kazan Cathedral in the city of Achinsk, Archpriest Sergius Pigasov. After the consecration ceremony, Father Pavel presented the chapel’s patron with a memorial sign “165 years of the formation of the Krasnoyarsk (Yenisei) diocese” and addressed the believers with a pastoral word.
