Akathist of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel (November 8)translated

On November 8, the Orthodox Church celebrates the Council of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel and of all the heavenly powers, honoring the two archangels as servants of God and protectors of people.
Saint Archangel Michael is the leader of the heavenly hosts and the defender of the faithful, and Saint Archangel Gabriel is the harbinger of important moments in the history of salvation, including the Birth of Saint John the Baptist and the Birth of Christ the Savior.
Complete Akathist:
Condac 1 The chief angels of the Trinity, Michael and Gabriel, let us all praise them, lovers of the feast, who cover us with the wings of both and from the needs of many kinds we deliver ourselves, saying to one: rejoice, servant of the Law, and to the other saying: rejoice, angel of the gift!
Ikos 1 Archangel Michael, the greatest of the disembodied angels, you were created by God, the Builder of all; therefore, with joy, praises of this kind we bring to you:
Rejoice, creature of the Mind that made the world;
Rejoice, outpouring of light before light;
Rejoice, you who are like fire, who stand close to the Godhead;
Rejoice, servant…
