Condac 1 The servant of God Saint Gerasim, who through his multitude of sufferings received the indestructible crown, the one who pours out rivers of healings through his holy relics, come, believers, let us praise him in one voice, saying: Rejoice, Saint Gerasim, wall unbroken by the devil's machinations!

Icos 1 Your life was a crucified life, Holy One of God, because rejecting worldly desires you took the cross of Christ upon yourself, loving poverty and defaming fleeting pleasures. Learning from you to walk the path of the Gospel and prayer, we say to you with a humble heart:

Rejoice, for you have blessed the land of Trikala;

Rejoice, that from your childhood you walked the path of virtues;

Rejoice, that in the island of Zakynthos you occupied yourself with prayer;

Rejoice, that together with the agnostic saints you praise the Mother of God;

Rejoice, that you were worthy to worship at the Holy Places;

Rejoice, that in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher you received heavenly comfort;

Rejoice, that by lighting the candles there, you also lit the candle of your heart;

Rejoice, that, being ordained a priest, you did not diminish your needs;
