More than 400 young people from the five dioceses of the Metropolis of Western and Southern Europe are participating in the Nepsis Congress between October 8-11. This year's host is the Diocese of Italy.

The works, brought together under the theme "Sent into the world, witnesses of the world of Christ", began on Saturday with the Tedeum service, officiated by the Vicar Bishop of the Diocese of Spain and Portugal.

In the official opening of the events, Metropolitan Joseph of Western and Southern Europe emphasized the theme of the meeting and the role of young people in confessing their faith.
