An anniversary volume dedicated to Patriarch Daniel was released: A surprise projecttranslated

The volume "The Good Shepherd. An anniversary volume dedicated to the Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel on his 75th birthday" was launched on Wednesday at the Cultural-Missionary Center "Familia" in Pantelimon, Ilfov county.

The presentation of the volume produced at the Basilica Publishing House of the Romanian Patriarchate was made by father Sorin-Vasile Tancău, patriarchal adviser and coordinator of the Publishing Houses of the Romanian Patriarchate, who described the work as "a surprise project, which was worked on in secret for six months".

Unpublished testimonies The priest explained that the initiative belonged to the Most Reverend Father Timotei Prahoveanul, the Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Bucharest, who proposed the establishment of an editorial committee formed together with the Patriarchal Vicar Bishops Varlaam Ploieșteanul and Paisie Sinaitul.

According to the patriarchal adviser, the album also includes original testimonies of people close to Patriarch Daniel, including priests Vasile Muntean, Ionel Popescu and Ioan Sauca, but also a text signed by the historian and academician Ioan-Aurel Pop.
