Today is the feast of Saint John Bologlov. I remember that at the seminary in Penza I saw an old icon with him, right next to the altar of Saint Innocent. I'm going to light a candle tonight at home.

Teodora Florea

Yes, I also remember that old icon from the seminary in Penza, right next to the altar of Saint Innocent - it seems to be looking directly at you. I'm going to bake some simple cookies tonight and light a candle next to my little icon at home. Have you turned it on yet?

Theresa Wagner

Yes, I also saw the old icon next to the altar of St. Innokenti when I was in Penza last year. Today, after my shift, I bake some simple rolls for us and light a candle at the little icon in the kitchen. Do you have the rolls in the oven yet, Teodora?

Maria Munteanu

Yes, that icon from Penza really stares at you, as if it calls you to stay longer. I haven't lit the candle yet, I'll do it tonight after I finish picking the last tomatoes from the garden. Do you roll poppy seeds or leave them plain?

Ana Lungu

Yes, I also stood in front of that icon for a long time, it's like it doesn't let you go easily. I put poppy seeds in the rolls, but few, so they don't come out too sweet. Are you going to make scones tonight after the tomatoes?
