The Nativity of the Mother of God really begins the church year, I have remembered this since childhood. In our choir, we always sing "Rejoice, Mother of God" on this day, and after sending, many go fishing, because autumn is near. And why exactly from Christmas, and not from Easter, it would be interesting to read in more detail.

It is really the beginning of the church year of Our Lady of Rizhdvo, Victor, I remember this even in my childhood. Many people always come to St. Nino's Cathedral in Batumi on this day, and at the end Father Giorgi blesses us with new grapes. Not from the answer, but from here everything starts, because the Mother of God herself is the source of our faith.

The Nativity of the Mother of God is celebrated very beautifully in our church in Bitola, and I always remember how my mother brought grapes for blessing after the liturgy. Victor, you said it well about the choir, "Rejoice, Virgin Mary" is my favorite. And why not from Easter, I'm also interested to see what they will write.

Here in Plovdiv, on the Nativity of the Virgin, they also bless the new grapes every year after the liturgy, just like with Marko of Bitola. Victor, you remembered people well - "Rejoice, Virgin Mary" is the most common song in our country that day. Really interesting why the church year starts from September and not from Easter, I will read.

Here in Plovdiv, every year after the liturgy they bless the new grapes, and I bring some of ours, which grow next to the fence. Victor, you remembered well about "Rejoice, Virgin Mary" - and in our choir it is the first song of that day. I am interested in why the church year begins precisely from the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, and not from Easter, I will read.
