June 7/May 25 – 1st Sunday after Pentecost – All Saints.translated

The Sunday following the day of the Holy Trinity is called by the Church “Sunday of All Saints.”
On this day, in a general solemn meeting, the Church remembers and glorifies its sons, who were not only called into the church fence, but also, through a free feat of their will, received the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, living and acting in human life as believers and loving hearts turn to Him.
The path of holiness is the path of active striving towards God. Holiness is achieved when the will of man begins to approach the will of God, when the prayer is realized in our life: “Thy Will be done.”
A person is freed from sinful desire, voluntarily crucifies his flesh, that is, his unenlightened spiritual, spiritual and physical being, and the path of God’s Will opens up for him - the path of holiness.
Our current holiday is the glorification of the Saints, the glorification of those who loved the Will of God more than the will of sin.
