It is interesting that Saint Astius is mentioned together with a whole group - Peregrine, Lucius, Pompey... I would like to read how they suffered together. And St. Thomas of Maleon probably lived in caves, as many did then.

Yes, this list of bishops and fellow martyrs together is interesting, it makes us want to dig into their stories all together. For Saint Thomas of Mount Maléon, I remember reading that he really lived in a cave, a bit like the first monks. It makes me think of the little icon we have in the parish, I will look at it differently on Sunday.
