August 7 - memory of Bishop Nestor (Metaniev) of Dmitrovtranslated
Today we commemorate Bishop Nestor (Metaniev) of Dmitrov, vicar of the Moscow diocese, a graduate of the Kazan Theological Academy in 1854 and its honorary member since 1895. Vladyka Nestor died in retirement in Moscow on July 25, 1910.
