June 30 marks the 41st anniversary of the episcopal consecration of Metropolitan Vladimir (Ikim)translated

The archpastor headed the Omsk department for 12 years, from 2011 to 2023 (he was also Omsk and Tarsky). During this time, through his efforts, new churches were built, the Omsk Theological Seminary was opened, the Omsk diocese was transformed into a metropolitanate and divided into 4 dioceses, diocesan departments were formed, and the Diocesan Administration building was built.
During the years of Bishop's tenure at the department, the number of clergy in the Omsk Irtysh region increased significantly. While in retirement, the archpastor continues to set an example of reverent and diligent service, performing divine services in the Cathedral of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
The head of the Omsk Metropolis, archpastors, pastors, clergy and the entire Orthodox flock of the Irtysh region congratulate dear Bishop Vladimir on the day of his consecration and offer prayers for his good health.
Many and blessed summers!
