I remember how last year at the Liturgy in our church they read about these martyrs from Persia. It was especially heartbreaking that Bishop Acepsimus was tortured for so long, but he did not recant. After the service, we even had a conversation over tea about how faith helps in difficult days. I wonder if that church of St. George is still preserved in Lida today?
