The “Clean Coast - Clean Water” campaign has been taking place in Istra for the 15th year. “Volunteers” took part in a small number for the first time this year

In just a few hours, together with volunteer fishermen, we cleaned the bank of the Istra River.

For her active participation, our mentor Anastasia was awarded a prize - scuba diving in the pool. Together we managed to collect a lot of garbage and make our river cleaner

And very soon the new school year will begin, and the Volunteers association will open its doors to all interested teenagers!

Well done for going. Istra is a beautiful river, I remember fishing on such banks in the past and the water was cleaner. Well done to Anastasia on the diving award, she will remember it for years.

Well said Spyros, Istra used to have cleaner waters. I was glad we went, we collected bags full of plastic and bottles. Where did you usually fish then?

Good to see the Dobrovoltsy lads out there helping this year, even if it was just a small group. Picking up all those bags of plastic and bottles from the Istra banks must have made a real difference. Anastasia earning a scuba dive in the pool as a prize sounds like a fun way to end the day.
