On July 28, on the Day of the Baptism of Rus', on the Cathedral Hill of the city of Plyos, the rector of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, assistant dean for missionary work of the Volga deanery, Archpriest Andrei Lyachin, together with parishioners, congratulated summer residents, tourists and townspeople on the holiday. Missionary booklets prepared by the Synodal Missionary Department and replicated by the Ivanovo-Voznesensky Diocese were distributed to everyone.
