“It’s hard to start talking about what’s most precious. You are also afraid that memory is an unfaithful witness” - this is a quote from the memoirs of Elena Apushkina, who at one time was a member of the Marosei community.

The past is filled with different things. In addition to the most precious things, many painful things remain in the memories. And exactly the opposite: among all the painful and unpleasant things that you don’t want to mention, you can find something simple and bright. Human.

The play “Case No. 107365” (Tutvamnetheater laboratory with the support of Teatra.doc, Moscow) was created on the basis of materials from a real-life case, as well as letters and memoirs of members of the Marosei community. People whose fate fell on quite a difficult time and unique historical events of the first third of the last century simply lived. At the same time, one of the important spheres – the spiritual – was in deep crisis.

How did they manage not to lose themselves and connection with each other? What spiritual experience did they try to document in their diaries and what was so important to remember?
