09/23/2026 Metropolitan Joseph led the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovotranslated

On September 23, on the afterfeast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the day of remembrance of the holy martyrs Minodora, Metrodora and Nymphodora, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovo. During the service in the church there was an icon with the relics of the celebrated martyrs.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were Abbot Vitaly (Utkin), Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov, Priest Sergius Vityazev, Hierodeacon Andrei (Datsko) and Deacon Alexander Lityaev.

Metropolitan Joseph read a prayer for Holy Russia and performed glorification of the holy martyrs.

The Apostle was read by Deacon Alexander Lityaev, the Gospel by Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko).

Liturgical hymns were performed by Alexander Milan-Petrov.

The subdeacons were Reader Ilya Novikov and Reader Alexander Silaev.
