08/22/26 Bishop's service of all-night vigil in the Assumption Cathedraltranslated

On August 22, on the Afterfeast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, the eve of the 12th Sunday after Pentecost, the feast of the second discovery and transfer of the relics of St. Savva of Storozhevsky, Zvenigorod, the cathedrals of the Valaam saints and new martyrs and confessors of Solovetsky, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated an all-night vigil in the Assumption Cathedral city of Ivanovo. During the service, an icon with part of the relics of St. Savva of Storozhevsky was present in the church.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev), Abbot Vitaly (Utkin), Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov, Hieromonk Feofan (Naumov), Priest Georgy Alekseev, Protodeacon Pavel Konik, Hierodeacon Avksentiy (Fokin), Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko), and Deacon Alexander Lityaev.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the bishop's male choir under the direction of Deacon Kirill Shtanin.

Subdeacons were John Batrak, Yakov Sazonov, Nikolai Kalinkin, Pavel Romashenko.
