On September 21, on the feast of the Nativity of our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, Bishop John of Shuisky and Teikovsky celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church of the same name in the village. Shapkino, Savinsky district.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were: the dean of the churches of the Savinsky district, Priest Andrei Lykov; rector of the Znamensky Church Yakovlevo priest Mikhail Lomov; senior priest of the Church of St. Macarius of Nevsky, Dzerzhinsky (Moscow region) - head of the department of additional education, senior teacher of the Nikolo-Ugresh Seminary, Priest Sergiy Shilov.

The diaconal rank was headed by Deacon Alexander Volov.

Liturgical chants were performed by the Bishop's Choir of the Resurrection Cathedral under the direction of Olga Koroleva.

At the end of the service, a religious procession was held around the church.
