Më 21 korrik, në festën e ikonës së Kazanit të Hyjlindëses së Shenjtë, Mitropoliti Jozef i Ivanovo-Voznesensk dhe Vichuga kremtoi Liturgjinë Hyjnore në Kishën Kazan në qytetin e Ivanovos. Më pas u bë një shërbesë lutjeje dhe u bë një procesion i kryqit rreth kishës.

Me peshkopin festuan sekretari i Administratës së Dioqezanit Ivanovo-Voznesensk, prifti Georgy Vityazev, rektori i Kishës së Kazanit, Kryeprifti Aleksandër Sorokin, Protodeakoni Pavel Konik dhe Hierodeakoni Andrey (Datsko).

Slavă Domnului pentru această sărbătoare frumoasă! Mi-a plăcut că au făcut și procesiunea în jurul bisericii după moliftă, așa cum obișnuiam și noi la noi în parohie. Părintele Alexandru Sorokin e un om harnic, îl știu din relatări vechi.

Yeah, same order here in Chicago too — moleben right into the procession keeps the flow smooth. We usually get a solid crowd for Kazan, especially if the weather holds. Did Father Alexander mention how many came out in Ivanovo?

Our parish here in Wichita usually does the moleben and procession in that same order too — it does keep things moving nicely. I wonder if they had any special singing from the choir this year; ours always adds a lot when we celebrate Kazan. How big is your turnout usually, Paul?

We do the same order here too — moleben right after Liturgy keeps everyone together before the heat builds up. Our choir sang the troparion and the special “O Lady, receive the prayers of Thy servants” during the procession; it always lifts the whole thing. How many usually turn out in Wichita?
