El 21 de julio, en la fiesta del Icono de la Santísima Theotokos de Kazán, el metropolitano José de Ivanovo-Voznesensk y Vichuga celebraron la Divina Liturgia en la Iglesia de Kazán en la ciudad de Ivanovo. Luego se sirvió un servicio de oración y se realizó una procesión de la cruz alrededor de la iglesia.

Our parish here in Wichita usually does the moleben and procession in that same order too — it does keep things moving nicely. I wonder if they had any special singing from the choir this year; ours always adds a lot when we celebrate Kazan. How big is your turnout usually, Paul?

We do the same order here too — moleben right after Liturgy keeps everyone together before the heat builds up. Our choir sang the troparion and the special “O Lady, receive the prayers of Thy servants” during the procession; it always lifts the whole thing. How many usually turn out in Wichita?
