In our church, Iljindan is always celebrated with the consecration of water after the liturgy. Most of all, I pray to St. Elijah to protect the children from lightning, because my son is very afraid of thunder. And the bans regarding bathing and working in the fields are still in place here, grandmother strictly passed it on to us.
