Visoki Detsani: Emphasis on the security of the Monastery which has been operating under the protection of KFOR since 1999translated

The Commander of the NATO Joint Forces Command from Naples, American Admiral Vikoff, accompanied by the Commander of KFOR, General Ulutas, and colleagues visited yesterday, Tuesday, July 28, 2026, the Visoki Detsani Monastery, which has been operating since 1999 under the protection of KFOR peacekeeping forces. The highest officers were welcomed to the Monastery by the Professor, Archimandrite Savvas.
After the visit to the Catholic Church of Visoki Detsani Monastery, Archimandrite Savvas presented to the NATO general the situation in which the Serbian Orthodox Church lives in Kosovo and Metohija.
The Professor emphasized the importance of the security of the monastery and other holy places of the Serbian Church in Kosovo and Metohija.
