"Until Spring Comes" A story of love for the country (1939 – 1944)translated

The Cultural Foundation of the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnania presents the theatrical performance "Until Spring Comes", an artistic tribute to the anniversary of October 28, 1940, which brings to life on stage a time when nothing was taken for granted and every farewell could be the last.

During the war years, lives change in an instant. Streets become empty, houses are filled with anxiety, letters become precious and people learn to live with absence. Between partings and silent prayers, stories of love, faith and anticipation are born, stories of people fighting to keep alive what has real value.

Against the background of the dramatic period 1939 – 1944, the show unfolds a world full of contrasts: fear and courage, loss and expectation, the cruelty of the time and the tenderness of human relationships. Through the theatrical narration, History acquires a face and emotion, while the small personal moments reveal the greatness of the human soul.
