PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

In the name of the Triune God and under the blessing and guidance of our Churches, the International Commission for Anglican-Orthodox Theological Dialogue (ICAOTD) met in Alexandria from September 19 to 24 2026, following the invitation of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa.

The Committee expresses its gratitude for the warm welcome and generous hospitality offered by His Beatitude the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa Mr. Theodore II. His Beatitude presented the life and work of the Patriarchate. The Committee was also warmly welcomed by His Eminence Mr. Samy Shehata, Anglican Archbishop of the Episcopalian/Anglican Archdiocese of Alexandria, in the Pre-Cathedral Church of Agios Markos, where he himself presented the mission and the ministry of the Episcopate of Egypt.
