July 18, the feast of the discovery of the holy relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh and the day of remembrance of the holy martyrs Grand Duchess Elizabeth and nun Varvara, members of the volunteer organization “Blago”, together with their confessor, head of the Diocesan Department for Social Ministry of the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocese, Archpriest Viktor Makarenkov, made a trip to the restored Church of the Resurrection of Christ in the village of Stromikhin to take part in the Divine Liturgy.

For many Blagovets, this was their first joint worship service in the organization. Some volunteers were able to partake of the Holy Mysteries of Christ - an important step for those who devote themselves to works of mercy. After the Divine Liturgy, a religious procession and prayer service were held.

Behind the choir, the diocesan quartet sang under the direction of regent deacon Kirill Shtanin.
