On August 14, on the Feast of the All-Merciful Savior and the Origin of the Honest Trees of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga performed the Divine Liturgy and the minor consecration of water in the Assumption Cathedral of the city of Ivanovo. Then the archpastor blessed the honey of the new harvest.
Metropolitan Joseph read a prayer for Holy Rus'.
Concelebrating with the Bishop were Abbot Vitaly (Utkin), Hieromonk Macarius (Markish), Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov, Protodeacon Pavel Konik, Hierodeacon Avksentiy (Fokin) and Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko).
The liturgical chants were performed by the bishop's male choir under the direction of Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev).
The Apostle read - Hierodeacon Auxentius (Fokin), the Gospel - Protodeacon Pavel Konik.
Reader Ilya Novikov, Andrey Filippov and Pavel Romashenko served as subdeacons.
