08/13/2026 Carrying out the Cross of the Lord in the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovotranslated
On August 13, on the eve of the Feast of the All-Merciful Savior and the Origin of the Honorable Trees of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga performed Matins in the Assumption Cathedral of the city of Ivanovo. During the service, the Bishop carried the Life-Giving Cross for worship by the believers.
Concelebrating with the Bishop were Abbot Vitaly (Utkin), Hieromonk Macarius (Markish), Priest Vladimir Serbinenko, Priest Mikhail Kupreyanov, Protodeacon Pavel Konik, Hierodeacon Avksentiy (Fokin) and Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko).
The Six Psalms were read by Pavel Romashenko.
The liturgical chants were performed by the bishop's male choir under the direction of Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev).
The subdeacons were Reader Ilya Novikov, Reader Alexander Silaev and Pavel Romashenko.
