On July 12, the 6th Sunday after Pentecost, the feast of the glorious and all-praiseworthy chief apostles Peter and Paul, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Resurrection Stone Church in the city of Plyos.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were Hieromonk Anastasy (Golubev), Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov, Protodeacon Pavel Konik and Deacon Kirill Shtanin.

The Apostle was read by Deacon Kirill Shtanin, the Gospel was read by Protodeacon Pavel Konik.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the choir of the Spaso-Euphemius Monastery in the city of Suzdal.

The mayor of the city of Plyos, T.O., prayed during the service. Karimov, abbess of the Nikolsky monastery in the city of Privolzhsk, abbess Anatolia (Barshai), students of the Orthodox school at the Nikolsky convent in the city of Privolzhsk, pilgrims.

The subdeacons were Reader Ilya Novikov, Hierodeacon Andrei (Datsko), Deacon Alexander Lityaev and Philip Rusieshvili.

Glory to God! I liked that deacon Kirill Stanin read the Apostle, and protodeacon Pavel Konik - the Gospel. And the choir from the Spaso-Evfimiev Monastery in Suzdal sang beautifully, as usual.

It’s good that Kirill Shtanin the Apostle read, and Pavel Konik read the Gospel, as it is written. The choir from Suzdal always sings well, it would be nice to hear it live. And the head of the city of Plyos also prayed - you rarely see this.

I, on the other hand, was glad that the boys from the Orthodox school in Privolzhsk were also there - they must have had something left from the service. And have you ever gone to service in Plös?

Yes, the order is really visible - Cyril with the Apostle and Paul with the Gospel, it's nice. I see the boys from Privolzhsk often at services, they must have remembered something. I have been to Plyos only once years ago, but I have not entered this church.
