On September 11, on the feast of the Beheading of the Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga led the service of the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Archangel Michael in the village of Mikhailovskoye. At the end of the liturgy, the archpastor served a prayer service for those suffering from the disease of wine drinking, and the Bishop also read out the address of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill on the occasion of Sobriety Day.

Metropolitan Joseph read a prayer for Holy Rus' and led the praise.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were the secretary of the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocesan Administration, Priest Georgy Vityazev, the rector of the church, Priest Dimitry Velnichuk, Priest Ilya Bagaev, Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov, Protodeacon Pavel Konik and Deacon Alexander Lityaev.

The apostle was read by Deacon Alexander Lityaev.

The Gospel was read by Protodeacon Pavel Konik.

The liturgical hymns were performed by a choir under the direction of Deacon Kirill Shtanin.

The subdeacons were Reader Ilya Novikov, Hierodeacon Andrei (Datsko) and Andrei Filippov.
