A significant event took place at the Ushachi District House of Culture - the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Ushachi District Library named after. E.Ya.  Elk. The dean of the Ushachi church district, the rector of the Church of the Holy Martyrs Minodora, Metrodora, Nymphodora, took part in the festive event. Ushachi priest Alexander Talerenak.

Colleagues, veterans of librarianship and honored guests came to share the joy of the holiday with the team. Among them are the chairman of the Ushachi district executive committee, Sergei Stepanovich Shamovich, and the chairman of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism Workers, Elena Aleksandrovna Sabirova.

Sincere congratulations and words of parting words came from the dean of the Ushachi church district, Father Alexander. The priest highly appreciated the service of librarians as bearers of spiritual culture and morality, thanked the cultural institution for close cooperation with the deanery and presented as a gift an icon of the Venerable Euphrosyne of Polotsk, the enlightener of the Belarusian land, as well as a Bible with illustrations by great artists.

100 years is not only a reason for pride, but also an inspiration for new ones...
