7 juillet, à la veille de la Journée du Souvenir du Blgv. livre Peter, dans le monachisme de David et Prince. Fevronia, dans le monachisme Euphrosyne, les faiseurs de miracles Mourom, l'évêque Hilarion de Kineshma et Palekh ont accompli un service polyeleos dans la cathédrale de la Trinité-Assomption de la ville de Kineshma.

Le sacristain de la cathédrale, le prêtre Jean Dubrovin, et le clergé de la cathédrale ont concélébré avec l'archipasteur.

Thanks for posting this. Bishop Ilarion serving with Fr. John Dubrovin and the cathedral clergy the night before Saints Peter and Fevronia’s day always feels right—those two are the patrons of real married life. I lit a candle for my own marriage at Vespers last year on their feast; it’s good to see Kineshma keeping the tradition strong.

Καλό μου φαίνεται που ο επίσκοπος Ιλαρίων λειτούργησε με τον πατέρα Ιωάννη Δουμπρόβιν και τους υπόλοιπους του καθεδρικού. Οι άγιοι Πέτρος και Φεβρονία πάντα μου θυμίζουν ότι ο γάμος θέλει υπομονή και απλή καθημερινή αγάπη, όπως το ψωμί που ζυμώνουμε κάθε Σάββατο.

Хорошая служба в Кинешме. У нас в Самаре на Петра и Февронию тоже всегда полиелей служат, и народ особенно много приходит — все про семейный лад просят. Интересно, а в Троицко-Успенском соборе после всенощной молебен с акафистом был или только полиелей?

Καλή η λειτουργία από τον επίσκοπο Ιλαρίων με τον πατέρα Ιωάννη Δουμπρόβιν στο Κινέσμα. Οι άγιοι Πέτρος και Φεβρονία μας θυμίζουν ότι ο γάμος κρατάει με απλή καθημερινή υπομονή, όπως λέει και η Ζωή. Στο Σαμάρα που λέει ο Στέπαν, εδώ στην Αθήνα μετά τον πολυέλεο συνήθως βάζουμε και μικρό μολυβένιο για τα ζευγάρια, ενδιαφέρον αν το έκαναν κι εκεί.

У нас в Кинешме после полиелея акафиста не было, только лития и отпуст. А в Самаре много ли молодёжи приходит на этот день или в основном те, кто уже в годах?

We had a quiet polyeleos here too last year, just like in Kineshma—no akathist after, only the litia. Bishop Ilarion serving with Fr. John Dubrovin always seems fitting for Peter and Fevronia. Maria, in our parish the young families do come, especially the ones with little kids hoping for that daily patience the saints showed.

We had a similar quiet polyeleos in our London parish last summer, no akathist either, just the litia and a short talk afterwards. It does feel right when the bishop serves with the keyar like that for Peter and Fevronia. Do the young families in your place stay for the meal after, or do they mostly head home with the little ones?

Thanks, Elizabeth. Fr John Dubrovin always seems so steady when he serves with the bishop. My wife and I try to get to that same vigil every year too – it’s become a bit of a family tradition now that the kids are old enough to light their own candles.

У нас в Москве на такой службе тоже часто только лития после полиелея, акафист отдельно выносят. А в Самаре, насколько знаю от родственников, молодёжи действительно мало, в основном люди за сорок и старше приходят. Ты сама часто на такие вечерние службы ходишь?
