08/05/2026 Metropolitan Joseph celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedraltranslated

On August 5, on the feast of the Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God and the day of remembrance of the righteous warrior Theodore Ushakov, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovo.

Metropolitan Joseph read a prayer for Holy Rus' and led the praise.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were Hegumen Vitaly (Utkin), Priest Vladimir Serbinenko, Hierodeacon Andrei (Datsko) and Deacon Sergius Vityazev.

The apostle was read by Deacon Sergius Vityazev.

The Gospel was read by Hierodeacon Andrei (Datsko).

The liturgical chants were performed by Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev) and reader Alexander Silaev.

Reader Ilya Novikov, Andrey Filippov and Pavel Romashenko served as subdeacons.
