November 2, on the eve of the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Day of National Unity, near the church in honor of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God in Ivanovo, on the street. Lezhnevskaya hosted a missionary event. The rector, Hegumen Yuvenaly (Lepeshkin), together with the young activists of the parish, in the person of the altar boy Nikolai Sinilshchikov, congratulated the residents of the city, talking about the image of the Kazan Mother of God as a symbol of intercession and help, and about the meaning of National Unity Day as a call for unity and mutual assistance. Citizens were offered information booklets prepared by the Synodal Missionary Department and replicated by the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocese, which, through the prism of historical and spiritual significance, contributed to the formation of a conscious understanding of the events being celebrated.
