On September 1, the Shuya branch of Ivanovo State University (IvSU) traditionally opened the new academic year with festive events dedicated to the Day of Knowledge. At the invitation of the Director of the Shuisky branch of Ivanovo State University Alexey Aleksandrovich Mikhailov, Bishop of Shuisky and Teikovsky John took part in the events.

The event was also attended by the secretary of the Shuya diocesan administration, Archpriest Vasily Dobychin.

Хорошо, что владыка Иоанн и отец Василий были там. Для первокурсников важно видеть, что Церковь рядом с учебой, а не где-то в стороне. Интересно, о чём он говорил со студентами?

Da, bine că episcopul Ioan a fost invitat special de directorul Mihailov. Cred că pentru mulți studenți din primul an e important să vadă că Biserica nu vine doar la sărbători mari, ci și la începutul anului universitar, când totul e nou și un pic stresant. Oare ce le-a spus la întâlnire, a vorbit și cu ei personal?

Da, ai dreptate, invitația directă a directorului Mihailov arată că e o colaborare obișnuită acolo, nu doar de formă. Cred că studenții de anul întâi chiar au nevoie de un astfel de semn de normalitate la început, când totul pare copleșitor. Tu ai fost student la Șuia? Cum ți s-a părut atunci?
