Builder of the poor, representative of widows, provider of the orphans,/ quick comfort for the sad, refuge for the drowned,// you were the intercessor of the offended, your father, like a teacher.
Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
A universal star and a never-setting luminary for monastics,/ a helper in troubles, a great refuge for sinners,// I offer the intercessor and prayer book to the Lord Christ, most honorably.
And now and ever and unto ages of ages, amen.
Desiring to see Your saint/ Your Son and God the ineffable glory of the Mother of God/ This Honest Cross on the frame of the world, // following His life-giving and Divine feet.
