Irmos: The Divine veil / slow-tongued darkness, / the intricate God-written law: / for he shook off the mud from the mind of the wise, / sees the Being / and learns the Spirit to understand, / praising with divine songs.

Chorus: Glory to Thee, our God, glory to Thee.

Who fed Israel with manna in the desert of old, / and fill my soul, O Master, with the Spirit of the All-Holy One, / so that I may serve Thee in a godly manner.

Glory to Thee, our God, glory to Thee.

With Your disembodied servants, boldly, I chant Ti and I, / this earth and ashes, / the singing of the thrice-holy voice, / the Trinity and the Blessed One.

Glory to Thee, our God, glory to Thee.

Our souls are always overwhelmed by storms of destructive passions and spirits, /to You, the All-Blessed Paraclete,/ as I entrust my salvation to God.

Glory to Thee, our God, glory to Thee.

We are darkened by the disorder of all kinds of lawless thoughts, / this destructive, I pray to Thee, to deliver me from this illness.

Glory to Thee, our God, glory to Thee.

With the depth of unreason and fierce negligence we are drowning in poor slumber, / to You, the All-Pure One, I cry: / deliver me from the sowing aphids of my soul.

Glory: Conceived in the womb of a virgin, Whose Father gave birth to from the womb before the ages, / enslaved by the wombs of voluptuousness, by Your strong power free me.

And now: Thou art the only earth that is truly holy, as having given birth to the Divine Life of all;/ Show the fruitful land my soul to Thy Son, O Theotokos.
