Є҆гда̀ снизше́лъ є҆сѝ къ сме́рти, животѐ безсме́ртный, тогда̀ а҆́дъ ᲂу҆мертви́лъ є҆сѝ блиста́нїемъ бж҃ества̀. є҆гда́ же и҆ ᲂу҆ме́ршыѧ ѿ преиспо́днихъ воскр҃си́лъ є҆сѝ, всѧ̑ си̑лы нбⷭ҇ныѧ взыва́хꙋ: жизнода́вче хрⷭ҇тѐ бж҃е на́шъ, сла́ва тебѣ̀.
When thou didst descend into death, O Life without death, then didst thou Death by the brightness of thy Godhead vanquish. And when thou didst also from the realm of the dead rise again with a glorious body, thou didst draw all things to thee with mighty power: O Giver of Life, glory be to thee.

More than in sense, O most renowned Theotokos, sealed by purity of mystery and preserved chaste maiden, thou hast known truly, giving birth to the True: wherefore pray thou that our souls may be saved.
