Irmos: In the furnace of fire/ the hymn-speakers saved the youths,// blessed be God our father.
Reverend Father Silouana, pray to God for us.
The good yoke, the light burden of Christ the Savior is upon us,/ and with the sail of the Holy Spirit, in the divine passion,/ thou hast steered the ship of thy soul to a sweet haven, O Father Silouan,/ a monk, exhausted in labor, in a marvelous manner.
Reverend Father Silouana, pray to God for us.
How we do not marvel at your humility and love for mankind, O good Silouan,/seeing you shedding tears/and about those in hell and unrepentant sinners, sobbing back and forth,/for the enemy asking for your forgiveness, imitating Christ’s all-forgiveness?
Reverend Father Silouana, pray to God for us.
Psalmically exclaiming: Thy procession, O God, has been seen, / the procession of my God and the King who is in the Holy One, / Whom indeed in the person of the spiritual father Abraham was granted to behold Thou shalt honor our mentors by instructing us with grace, O Silouans, more knowledgeable of God.
Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
This image of the outlines of virtuous deeds, / humble, and meek, and a kind mentor, appeared to the monastics in Mount Athos, Silouana, / for the sake of monasticism and peace / intercession yours is entrusted to God.
And now and ever and unto ages of ages, amen.
Be protection, and intercession, and intercession, and praise, O Virgin,/ I will now reveal to me all kinds of help,/ the helpless strength and the hopeless,/ Silouan’s prayers, the warmest of the sun.
