Irmos: On Divine guard, may the God-speaking Habakkuk stand with us, and show us a luminous Angel, clearly saying: today is salvation for the world, for Christ is risen, for he is omnipotent.

Translation 2. On guard* Habakkuk divine,

Prophet of God

Let him be with us and show us

A luminous angel who speaks clearly:

“This day there is salvation for the world,

For Christ has risen, for he is omnipotent!”

*Here “watch” means the spiritual vigil of the prophet Habakkuk in anticipation of Divine revelation (Hab. 2:1).

Chorus: Christ is Risen from the dead.

The male sex, as it opened the virgin womb, Christ appeared as a man, the Lamb was called, blameless, for it is tasteless of filth, our Passover, and as God is true, perfect speech.

Translation 2. Christ appeared male,

Opening the womb of the Virgin;

And, although he was a man, he was named Lamb.

And blameless, as if he had not tasted filth,

He is our Easter, and, like the true God,

He is called perfect.

Chorus: Christ is Risen from the dead.

Like the one-year-old lamb, the crown of Christ blessed for us, I willed for all to be slain, the cleansing Passover, and the Sun rose again from the tomb of red righteousness for us.

Translation 2. Like a one-year-old lamb, -

Blessed by us, like a crown, Christ,

By his own will he was slain for everyone,

Easter is cleansing;

And again he shone from the grave

The beautiful Sun of truth.

Chorus: Christ is Risen from the dead.

Our God-father David gallops in front of the hay ark, playing, but the saints of God, having visualized the event, we rejoice divinely, for Christ is risen, for he is omnipotent.

Translation 2. Godfather David before the ark,

Shadows of the future like this, jumped and danced;

And we, holy people of God,

Seeing the fulfillment of the prototypes,

Let's rejoice divinely

For Christ has risen, for he is omnipotent.

Glory: Having created Adam, Your forefather, Pure, is built from You, and destroy the mortal dwelling with Your death today, and illuminate everything with the Divine splendor of the Resurrection.

And now: Whom you gave birth to Christ, who rose beautifully from the dead, Pure, seeing, kind and blameless in women and red, today for the salvation of all, the Apostles glorify Him rejoicing.

In the chaos again, Irmos: On the Divine guard, may the God-speaking Habakkuk stand with us, and show the luminous Angel, clearly saying: today is salvation for the world, for Christ is risen, for omnipotent.

Christ is Risen from the dead, trampling down death and giving life to those in the tombs. (Thrice)
