O Soul, O Spirit,
unto Thee do we cry,
unto Thy mercy do we flee;
for Thou art our God,
and unto Thee do we entrust our life (ζωή).
Through Thee, O Lord,
we are delivered from every evil (πονηρό),
and through Thee we are saved.
For Thou art the Saviour of those in peril (σκεύος τῶν ἐν κινδύνῳ),
and unto Thee do we cry.
Through Thee, O Lord,
we are delivered from every evil,
and through Thee we are saved.
For Thou art the Saviour of those in peril,
and unto Thee do we cry.
O Soul and Spirit of the Lord and the Spirit,
having been born for our salvation twice-born,
let us with faith and worship hymn thee:
For thou didst will to take flesh by thy own good pleasure,
and to bear death, and to rise again gloriously from the dead.
O Theotokos,
Rejoice at the door that cannot be entered: rejoice at the wall and roof sheltering those who come to Thee. Rejoice, unapproachable harbor, and inexhaustible, giving birth by thy flesh and God: praying, do not disdain those singing and bowing before Thy feet.
