O Soul, O Spirit, of God,
Thou hast seen the mysteries of the Kingdom;
Thou hast known the hidden things of Thy Creator.
Therefore with understanding hast Thou taught us
to call upon the Name of the Lord,
for Thou art a stranger in this world,
and a guide to those who are in darkness.

For Thou didst descend into the deep abyss,
and didst find the treasures of wisdom and knowledge;
Thou didst ascend on high, and didst receive the gifts of the Spirit.
Therefore, O Comforter, teach us
to walk in the ways of righteousness,
that we may be found worthy to inherit Thy glory.

For Thou art the Light that enlighteneth every man,
and the Life that giveth unto all;
Thou art the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Therefore, with compunction of heart,
we cry to Thee:
Glory to Thee, O Lord our God,
who hast given us Thy divine commandments
that we may be saved by Thy grace.

O Soul and Spirit of the Lord and the Spirit,
having been born for our salvation twice,
let us with faith and worship hymn them:
For by His will to take flesh upon the crib,
and to suffer death,
and to rise again gloriously from the dead.

O Theotokos,

Rejoice at the door that cannot be entered: rejoice O wall and roof sheltering those who come to Thee. Rejoice, unassailable refuge, and unapproachable, giving birth by thy flesh to Thy Creator and God: praying, do not refuse them who sing to Thee and fall down before Thy feet.
