Stichera-like Triodion, creation of Mr. Joseph, tone 2
Στιχηρὰ προσόμοια τοῦ Τριῳδίου, γ´. Ποίημα τοῦ κυρίου Ἰωσήφ. Ἦχος β´.
Similar to: I will pass over everything:
I have committed every sin, I have died of fornication, and even if I want to repent, I will not cry. Even if I live lazily now, I am guilty of the fool. But grant me correction, O good God, and have mercy on me.
Similar: I have surpassed everyone...
I have committed every sin, I have surpassed everyone in debauchery, and if I want to repent, I have no streams of tears; and if now I continue to live carelessly, I will be worthy of punishment. But grant me correction and have mercy on me, O God, the Only Good One!

Grant me the clouds, O Christ, tears, on the red day of Lent, so that I may weep and wash away the filth from sweets, and I will appear to You, cleansed, when, O Judge, I come from heaven, Lord, judge man, as the Judge and the Righteous are one.
Christ, give me streams of tears during the beautiful days of Lent, so that I can begin to cry and wash away the filth of pleasures, and You will see me cleansed when You come from Heaven to judge people, the Only and Righteous Judge!

John, voice five, Mr. Theodore the Studite: Like: Reverend Father:
Come diligently, having a strong weapon of fasting like a shield, we will turn away all the snares of the enemy’s charms, faithful ones. We will not be scorched by the sweets of passions, nor will we be afraid of the fire of temptations, in whose image Christ the Lover of Mankind crowns us with the honor of patience. Moreover, praying boldly, we fall down calling, asking for peace and great mercy for our souls.
Another stichera of Mr. Theodore the Studite, tone 5. Similar: Reverend Father...
Come with zeal, O faithful ones, having strong weapons of fasting, like a shield*, and let us repel all the seductive tricks of the Enemy! We will not be enchanted by the pleasures that passions promise us, nor will we be afraid of the flames of temptation, thanks to which Christ, who loves people, will crown us with rewards for perseverance! Therefore, praying with boldness, we fall [to Him] with a loud cry, asking for peace and great mercy for our souls!

Genesis reading (Genesis 1:1–13).
In the beginning God created heaven and earth. The earth was invisible and unsettled, and darkness was on top of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving on top of the waters. And God said: let there be light, and there be light. And God saw the light as good, and God separated between light and darkness. And God called the light day, and the darkness he called night. And there was evening, and there was morning, one day. And God said: let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let there be a parting in the midst of the waters, and the waters: and so it was. And God made the firmament: and God divided between the waters that were under the firmament, and between the waters that were above the firmament. And God called the firmament the sky: and God saw that it was good. And it was evening, and it was morning, the second day. And God said: let the waters under heaven be gathered together into one, and let the dry land appear: and so it was. And the waters under the heaven were gathered into their own gatherings, and the dry land appeared. And God called the dry land the earth: and the collected waters were called the seas. And God saw that it was good.
And God said: Let the earth bring forth grass, sowing seed according to its kind and likeness, and a fruitful tree producing fruit, which has its seed in it, according to its kind on the earth, and so it may be. And the earth brought forth grass, sowing seed according to its kind and after its likeness, and a fruitful tree producing fruit, having its seed in it according to its kind on the earth. And God saw that it was good. And it was evening, and it was morning, the third day.
Reading Genesis [1, 1–13]
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was invisible and unsettled, and darkness was on top of the deep, and the Spirit of God rushed over the water. And God said: “Let there be light.” And the light arose. And God saw the light, that it was good, and God separated the light from the darkness. And God called the light day, and called the darkness night. And there was evening, and there was morning: one day. And God said: “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it separate the waters from the waters.” And so it became. And God created the firmament, and God separated the water that was under the firmament from the water that was above the firmament. And God called the firmament heaven. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning: the second day. And God said: “Let the water that is under the sky be gathered into one gathering, and let the dry land appear.” And it came to pass: and the waters that were under the heaven were gathered together, and the dry land appeared. And God called the dry land earth, and the gatherings of waters he called seas. And God saw that it was good.
And God said: “Let the earth bring forth grass of the meadow, yielding seed according to its kind and likeness, and a fruitful tree bearing fruit, the seed of which is in it according to its kind, on the earth.” And so it became. And the earth brought forth grass of the meadow, yielding seed according to its kind and likeness, and a fruitful tree bearing fruit, the seed of which is in it according to its kind on the earth. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning: the third day.
