Troparion of prophecy, voice 1:

To those who sin immeasurably, forgive us richly, O Savior: grant us to uncondemnably worship Your Holy Resurrection, through the prayers of Your Most Pure Mother, the One Most Merciful.

Glory, and now: and we repeat the same.

Troparion of prophecy, tone 1: Grant abundant forgiveness to those who sin immeasurably, O Savior, and grant us grace to worship Your Holy Resurrection without condemnation, through the intercession of Your Most Pure Mother, O One Most merciful!

Glory, even now: and we repeat the same troparion.

Prokeimenon (Psalm 129), tone 6: For with the Lord is mercy, and with Him is much deliverance.

Verse: From the depths I cried to You, Lord: Lord, hear my voice.

Prokeimenon (Psalm 129), tone 6: For with the Lord is mercy and great is His redemption!

Verse: Lord, from the depths I cried to You, hear my voice, Lord!

Prophecies of Ezekiel reading (Ezek.1:21–28; 2:1).

Whenever I walk (the animal), I walk (and the wheels), and sometimes I stand with them, I stand (and the wheels with them): and whenever I rise up from the earth, I rise up with them (and the wheels), like the spirit of life on wheels. And the likeness above the heads of the animals is like the firmament, like a vision of a crystal stretched above their wings. And under the firmament of the wing they were stretched out, hovering towards each other, each paired together, covering their bodies. And they heard a voice shouting at them, sometimes soaring, like the voice of many waters, like the voice of God Saddai; And behold, a voice above the firmament that was above their heads, while they stood still, came down and screamed at them. And above the firmament, even above their head, was like a vision of a sapphire stone, the likeness of a throne on it, and on the likeness of a throne a likeness, like the view of a man from above.

And I saw like a vision of an electr, like a vision of fire inside it, around it from the vision of the loins and above, and from the vision of the loins even down to the bottom I saw a vision of fire, and its light around, like a vision of an arc, when there is on the clouds on the day of rain, so there was light around. This vision is the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

Reading the prophecy of Ezekiel [1:21–28; 2:1a]

When the animals walked, the wheels moved, and when they stopped, the wheels stopped with them, and when they rose from the ground, the wheels rose with them, for the spirit of life was in the wheels. And above the heads of the animals there was a semblance of a firmament in the form of a terrible crystal, stretched above their wings. And under the firmament their wings are outstretched, hovering towards each other, each two are united, covering their bodies. And I heard the sound of their wings, like the sound of many waters, like the voice of God Shaddai the sufficient; and when they moved, the sound of the word was like the voice of a regiment, and when they stopped, their wings drooped. And behold, a voice came from above the firmament that was over their heads. When they stopped, their wings drooped. And above the firmament, which was above their heads, there seemed to be a sapphire stone, and on it the likeness of a throne, and above the likeness of the throne there was in appearance the likeness of a man above on it. And I saw, as it were, the appearance of an electr, as if the appearance of fire inside him all around, from the appearance of his loins and above, and from the appearance of his loins and below, I saw, as it were, a kind of fire and light around him.

Just as there is the appearance of a rainbow on the clouds during rain, such was the appearance of the light all around. Such was the vision of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

Prokeimenon (Psalm 130), tone 4: Let Israel trust in the Lord/ from now on and forever.

Verse: Lord, my heart is not lifted up, my eyes are lifted up lower.

Prokeimenon (Psalm 130), tone 4: May Israel place its trust in the Lord, now and forever!

Verse: My heart was not lifted up, O Lord, and I did not lift up my gaze.
