Verse: Glorify Him in the timpani and in the face, / glorify Him in the strings and in the organ.
Гдⷭ҇и, ве́лїе и҆ стра́шно є҆́сть / твоегѡ̀ воскрⷭ҇нїѧ та́инство: / та́кѡ бо произше́лъ є҆сѝ ѿ гро́ба, / ꙗ҆́кѡ жени́хъ ѿ черто́га, / сме́ртїю сме́рть разрꙋши́вый, / да а҆да́ма свободи́ши. / тѣ́мже на нб҃сѣ́хъ а҆́гг҃ли ликовствꙋ́ютъ, / и҆ на землѝ человѣ́цы сла́вѧтъ, / є҆́же на на́съ бы́вшее бл҃гоꙋтро́бїе твоѐ, чл҃вѣколю́бче.
O Lord, verily terrible is Thy mystery of resurrection:
for Thou hast passed forth from the grave,
as Bridegroom from the foe,
by death Thou hast destroyed death,
and hast set free Adam.
Wherefore on high the angels rejoice,
and on earth men glorify,
that good-will towards us which Thou didst show, O Lover of Mankind.

Ѽ пребеззако́ннїи і҆ꙋде́є, / гдѣ̀ сꙋ́ть печа̑ти и҆ сре́брєницы, ꙗ҆̀же да́сте во́инѡмъ; / не ѹ҆кра́дено бы́сть сокро́вище, / но воскр҃се ꙗ҆́кѡ си́ленъ: / са́ми же посрами́стесѧ ѿве́ргшїисѧ хрⷭ҇та̀ гдⷭ҇а сла́вы, / пострада́вша и҆ погребе́нна, и҆ воскрⷭ҇ша и҆з̾ ме́ртвыхъ: / томꙋ̀ поклони́мсѧ.
-fashionably unorthodox Jews, /
where are seals and money-changers, /
why give to soldiers; /
not stolen was the treasure, /
but risen by strength: /
themselves however were disgraced, having cast off the Lord of glory, /
suffering and buried, and rose from the dead: /
unto Him we shall bow.

Stichos: Arise, O my God, that Thy hand may be lifted up, / and forget not Thy mercies unto the end.

Sealed was the tomb, /
as thou wast betrayed by the Jews, /
watchers were set and seals placed, /
through the closed door went the King; /
either as though dead, Thou presentedst Thyself, /
either as though to God, Thou bowedest Thine Head, singing with us: /
Glory to Thee, Who sealtest it, and to Thy Resurrection.

O most sweet Saviour of the dead,
Whose grave is full of life's delight,
The myrrh-bearing women weeping,
Have reached Thy Lord, bearing death,
And sought to anoint Thine holy body:
They found instead a radiant angel,
Sitting on the stone, and saying,
"From the rib that gave life to all mankind,
Flow tears of resurrection for the world.
Seek not the dead in the grave of mortality;
But go forth with glad tidings to those who mourn,
That the glorious Resurrection may be known by all,
And enlighten us in Thine mercy and great prayer."

Thou, O True Life, dost hold the world, O God, for man's sake;
Thy life doth Thou give, by rising, to them that have been raised;
Thou didst show Thyself fearful to those who seek the Spirit to see:
But Thou didst still the tumult of their souls, showing with Thine hand and foot.
Therefore, O Faithless ones, by partaking and remembrance of instruction,
Thou hast cast them down, that they might understand the writings:
And having promised the offering of the faithful, Thou blessedst and
Descendedst to heaven.
Wherefore we bow before Thee with them,
O Lord, glory be to Thee.

Theotokos, gladsome voice, vespers: Blessed art thou, O Theotokos, / for having been incarnate from thee the Adversary was made a captive, / Adam was restored, / the covenant was fulfilled, / Eve was set free, / death was destroyed, and we have hoped. / Therefore, singing we cry: / Blessed is Jesus Christ / Who willed thus, glory to thee.

Glory to Thee who hast shown us light.
