Stichos: Glorify Him in the timpani and in the face, / glorify Him in the strings and in the organ.

O Lord, most dreadful is Thy mystery of resurrection: for Thou hast passed out of the grave, as the Bridegroom from the foe, by death conquering death, and freeing Adam. Therefore on the heavens the angels rejoice, and on earth men glorify Thee, O Lover of mankind, for Thy good-will towards us hath come upon us.

Stichos: Glorify Him in the heights of resounding psalms. Glorify Him in the heights of exultant cries. / Let every breath glorify the Lord.

-fashionably unorthodox Jews, /
where are seals and money-changers, /
why give to soldiers; /
not stolen was the treasury, /
but risen by strength: /
themselves however will be ashamed, having cast off the Lord of glory, /
suffering and buried, and rose from the dead: /
unto Him we shall bow.

Stichos: Arise, O Lord my God, that Thy hand may be lifted up, / and forget not Thy mercies unto the end.

Sealed the tomb, / as thou wast betrayed by the Jews, / watchers were set and seals placed, / through the closed door passed the King; / either as dead thou presentedest thyself, / either as to God thou didst bow down, singing with us: / Glory to Thee, who sealtest this, and by Thy Resurrection.

Stichos: Ispověmse ti, gđi, všečem sěrdcem moim, / pověm vsja čudesa tvoja.

O sweet-smelling of Thy grave, O Myrrh-bearers weeping,
Thou hast reached the Lord, and bearing death,
Sought to anoint Thy holy body:
Finding instead a radiant angel sitting on the stone,
Who spake unto them, saying:
"Whose tears flow from the rib that gave life to all the world;
Whose seeking is for the dead in the grave of the immortal?
Go hence and more joyfully proclaim to Him who has been raised,
The worldwide gladness of Thy glorious resurrection,
By which Thou hast enlightened us,
Grant us cleansing and great mercy."

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.

Morning psalmody, tone 3:

Translation:

Lord, remember my life in all times and deliver me from the spectacle of my name, which is a creature before Thee.

Thou art blessed unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Thou, O True Life, dost hold the world, O God, to man Thy life-giving; Thou hast shown Thy life to them that have risen by the manifestation of Thy Spirit: but Thou didst still the tumult in their souls, showing them hands and feet Thine own. Therefore, O Comforter, not believing ones also, by partaking and remembrance of teaching, didst cast them down upon Thee, that they might understand the writings: and having promised the same to the Apostles, Thou blessedst and didst descend into heaven. Wherefore with them we bow down before Thee, O Lord, glory be to Thee.

And now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Theotokos, the Gloria begins: Blessed art thou, O Lady, / for by thee was Adam from the bonds of hell redeemed, / man hath arisen, / the covenant is fulfilled, / Eve is set free, / death is destroyed, and we have hoped. / Therefore we singing cry: Blessed is Jesus Christ / Who willed thus, glory to thee.

Glory to Thee who hast shown us light.
