Irmos: To serve the image, / convening people in musical harmony, / singing fatherly from the songs of Zion, the youths of David / tormentingly destroyed the evil command, / and turning the flame into dew, / song chanting: / exalted father and our God, blessed art thou.

Reverend Father Maxima, pray to God for us.

Having rendered a hymn of thanksgiving to the image of the Providence of the Most Holy Trinity, O Reverend Maxima,/ You have called upon all of us to bless without blasphemy the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,/ One God in Three Hypostasis.

Reverend Father Maxima, pray to God for us.

The image of suffering, patience and prayer appeared to you, Saint Maximus, and even more so of hope, / that God the Judge is righteous, and strong, and long-suffering, / and He will reward everyone according to his deeds.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

You, the wise Maximus, acquired an image of the most sublime theology, / these are the dogmas of the Divine apostle and father, / poured out from the Holy Paraclete, which you teach us with your God-Wise scripture.

And now and ever and unto ages of ages, amen.

The image of Your most pure Nativity, Virgin Mother, / is indescribable and incomprehensible, / for You were the dwelling of the eternal Only Begotten Son of the Father, without being scorched by Him.
