We rejoiced because they said to me: Let us go to the house of the Lord. But by the multitude of Thy mercy, O Lord, I will enter into Thy house, I will bow to Thy holy church in Thy passion. Lord, guide me with Your righteousness, for my enemy’s sake, straighten my path before You; that without stumbling I will glorify the one Divinity, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
I rejoiced when I heard a call saying to me: let us go to the house of the Lord! And I, as having been sought out by the multitude of Thy mercies, O Lord, will enter Thy house and bow before Thy holy abode with reverent fear befitting Thy greatness! God! enlighten me with Your truths and, despite the tricks of the enemy of the entire human race, who seeks to destroy me, guide me on the true path of pleasing You; Yes, unhindered and despite the efforts of this enemy, I will glorify, with the purity of my prayers, You, the One, Trinitarian God - Father and Son, and Holy Spirit, now, constantly, always and to the eternal ages of ages! I worship You, my Lord God, who is present by Your grace in this holy church; fairer in the most pure and life-giving Mysteries; To you, true Christ my Savior, I bow the knee of my heart. I also adore Your most immaculate Mother, the Most Pure Lady Virgin Mary, Theotokos, helper, intercessor, intercessor, the only hope and hope of my salvation. In the hand of Your great mercy, O my God! I entrust my soul and body, my feelings and verbs, my advice and thoughts, my deeds, and my entire body and soul, my movements, my entry and exit, my faith and residence, the course and end of my life, the day and hour of my breathing, my repose, the tranquility and resurrection of my soul and body. You, oh, Most Merciful God, are invincible with the sins of the whole world, and kindly Lord! accept me, more than all sinners, in the hand of Thy protection, and deliver me from all evil; cleanse my many, many iniquities, grant correction to my evil and cursed life, and always delight me from future sins; Yes, when I anger Your love for mankind in anything, cover my weakness from demons, passions and evil people, forbid it from the visible and invisible enemy: guiding me along the saved path, bring me to You, my refuge and the land of my desires.

But You, Lord, filled with this love for mankind, protect my weak and sinful nature from attacks on it by evil spirits that inflame passions in me, and from evil people who are harmful to me; and prevent all of them, as my visible and invisible enemies, from destroying me! But, guiding me on the path of salvation, lead me to You, a quiet refuge and blissful limit of my desires! Grant me a death worthy of a Christian, with which I would not disgrace this holy name, and peaceful, according to the state of my conscience! Save me from the heavenly spirits of malice, which usually block the human soul from ascending to the heavenly settlements, and at Your terrible judgment, be merciful to me, Your sinful servant, and join me with the blessed sheep standing at Your right hand: may I glorify You with them, my Creator, forever! Yes it will!
