Joachim and Anna suffered the reproach of childlessness, and Adam and Eve were freed from mortal aphids, O Most Pure One, in Thy holy Nativity. Then Your people also celebrate, having been freed from the guilt of sins, always calling on You: the Mother of God and the nourisher of our Life gives birth to infertility.
Joachim and Anna were freed from reproach for childlessness, and Adam and Eve were freed from the corruption of death by Your holy Nativity, Most Pure One. It is also celebrated by Your people, delivered from the power of sin, exclaiming to You: “The barren woman gives birth to the Mother of God and the Nurse of our Life!”
