As the all-validated disciple/ of the great patron and defender of the Russian land,/ our God-bearing fathers Athanasius and Theodosius,/ from your youth you have taken up the cross of Christ on your shoulders,/ diligently They followed this naturally/ and labored well in the monastery of St. Sergius./ Having arrived by God’s will,/ they labored piously in our city of Cherepovets,/ and the monastery of the Resurrection Christ created, / by prayer and labor pleasing God, / from Him the crown of Heavenly glory was received by nature, / and now with their holy bodies / in the cathedral church under a bushel resting,/ in spirit, together with the Venerable Sergius/ standing at the Throne of the Most High,/ pray diligently for us/ that we may be delivered from all troubles and sorrows// and that our souls may be saved.
